LGSS launches improved pension fund website

Visitors to the LGSS Pensions website are set to benefit from a range of improvements to the site from Thursday 19 April, when its new look and updated functionality are revealed.

Scheme members are now able to look up the value of their pension online and run ‘what if’ estimates to see how much their pension will be worth, meaning the need to visit different websites or complete a paper form is no longer needed.

As well as a fresh new design, the mobile-friendly site also benefits from improved navigation to make it easier for scheme members to find information relevant to them. It also boasts a secure messaging facility, allowing LGSS Pensions to upload any requested information directly to a scheme member’s account.

Members will need to login to make the most of the site’s features and access their individual pension account. Anyone who has previously registered to use the member self-service facility can use their existing account details to access the new website and the existing website addresses – and – will not change.

LGSS manages over £5b in assets on behalf of over 140,000 Local Government Pension Scheme and Firefighter Pension Scheme members and 300 scheme employers across Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.
